For my paper I am doing the 1927 movie metropolis. I chose this movie because how we perceive the future is very important to the cinematic world. This movie was the first movie to ever try and portray the future and it still stands as the foundation on which futuristic sci-fi future movies are made. From the buildings to the way the future looks they all seem to follow the same build as metropolis created when it first debut. The reason this is important today is at it still manages to effect the view on which we have in the future even though the film is almost a century old. It's very important to society as the way we perceive the future is very important.

It's much better for a writer to delve into depth when trying to create a visual image for the intended reader. By doing this it allows the reader to connect with the author and visually understand what the writer was trying to convey in describing something. The dark rich wood trim is merely an accent here and there to keep your eyes busy. Nestled in the corner occupying two walls as it stands out triumphantly in the shape of an "L." This, is where all the academic magic happens.

Where you can't really measure this of how physically or mentally enduring their trip was it still goes to show Chris's dedication to his dreams. For Chris to think so highly of them and to follow in their footsteps is and was a horrible idea as he really didn't know what he was getting himself into and these authors made the adventures they went on sound amazing/fun and a lifetime experience.
